Opinion: An Interview Of German Journalist With An American Attorney – Subject HOW IS USA DOING TODAY, AND WHICH ARE THE MAIN PROBLEMS

The German Journalist: What is going on today in United States?
The American Attorney: We’re still having our 1930’s moment over here.
The German Journalist: Why is this happening, how do they “the people” imagine USA, How Should their country look like? What is that IDEAL AMERICA?
The American Attorney: A huge number of r acist, x enophobic, angry people live in this country. It all comes from our public education system.
What they want is: America from the 1940’s to 1960’s. If you’re willing to work hard, physically, then you can afford a house, a car, vacation, and to retire at 65. It’s okay if you don’t go to college. It’s okay if you stay in a small-town where you grew up. You can work in a small factory or on a farm and be middle class. Hard work (physical, not mental) is just as good as intelligence/scholastics. Oh, and you get to look down on those poor brown people, because, no matter how bad things get, at least you’re white. And this is for the 1/3 of the people that consist of this mentality.
They’re the children who were unwilling to apply themselves in school towards going to college. They didn’t want more school, even though anyone could get a student loan then to go and do whatever… even if you were poor/middle class like I was.
It’s the same people you encounter if you go to rural Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, West Virginia, Pennsylvania: you encounter someone in their 50’s and ask them what they do. Answer: they’re a steel worker or a coal miner or something like that. Then, ask them the last time they had a job: not for 10, 15, 20, years.
Well guess what, buddy; if you haven’t worked in 10, 15, or 20 years, then you’re not a steel worker or coal miner anymore. Do something else.
These guys just want a job where they can clock in and clock out, go to the bar and have 1-5 beers, go home and “k*ck the dog and b*at the wife”, pass out, and do it all over again tomorrow. Because ‘merica.
The German Journalist: And all this comes from failure to upgrade your public schools?
The American Attorney: Not exactly… there’s an American public-school culture that’s to blame too. It’s the same reason we have so many school shootings.
The German Journalist: You have the money, in whose interest goes this trend of keeping people in that mentality. America spends God knows how much money in foreign countries, still cannot understand why not help their own citizens, by decreasing those investments and invest it in USA, is this because they “politicians” lawmakers and the rest who are in the background/ in power want to benefit for themselves or maybe it goes deeper that USA is created by many nations immigrants and the whole mentality is based on fake Patriotism and ultimately they see their country as a tool to profit? This is hard question and the last one for my interview.
The American Attorney: I’m not sure anyone or any group are controlling it all… puppet master style. I think it’s developed this way, and the people who are benefitting have no interest in making an effort to change it, and the people who are suffering are too st*pid and lazy to make an effort to change it.
1/3 of the people are “on the dole,” or on “disability,” or “Social Security,” or “welfare,” or whatever you want to call it. They’re the core of Democratic supporters, just like that other 1/3 are the core of Republican supporters.
And then the last 1/3 are actually intelligent, hard workers, some are rich as f*ck (as in Middle Eastern Saudi obscenely wealthy) most are middle-class/lower-upper class, and independent voters who just want reasonable laws and a pragmatic approach. Don’t spend too much money on st*pid sh*t, and don’t tell people how to live their lives. Basically, fiscally conservative and socially liberal.
Second thing, People here very quickly lose their immigrant status/mindset. Look at the Italians. Treated like tr*sh when they first came over. Now, second generation Italians are saying “BUILD THE WALL” and “Make America Great Again.” Lol. You id*ots! The Great America you want to go back to would be closed to you.
The neo-con American imperialism was inherited from the British.
Keep your neighbors divided and constantly at each other so you can sell weapons to both sides and get rich.
Also, destabilize any potential rival by backing crazy people and parties.
The Russians do the same damn thing. It’s the Great Game or whatever. They’re just more obvious about it. lol
The US has a really nasty habit of abandoning friends. It’s f*cking shameful.
The German Journalist: Not Israel?
The American Attorney: I said friends.
We are a friend to Israel, but Israel is not a friend to us. lol
The Lavon Affair should have resulted in war and “regime change.” Hell, they f*cking attacked the USS Liberty… and we did nothing about it. Insanity.
But seriously… the Montagnards and South Vietnamese, the Contras, the Kurds in Iraq, the Afghani “collaborators.” Those are just some of the groups our government has abandoned in the last 50 years.
The inconsistency is maddening.
USA to Iran in the 1950s, 1960s, and most of the 1970s: we’ll support you no matter what. You’re an ally against the Soviets.
Jimmy Carter elected… “Lots of luck to you, Shah.”
We should have either:
1. Backed the Shah no matter what to help him stay in power; or
2. Backed someone like Erdogan to take over… not great, but better than what actually happened in Iran. Let off a little steam so the crazy people can’t get power and blow everything up.
I mean, you want Erdogan or Khomeini. You choose.
Instead, we half-as*ed it and f*cked it all up.
